Gina Garland is the CEO for LIAS.

Gina received her Bachelors' degree in Comprehensive Science from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, OH; she completed her Master's in Science Education from the University of Toledo, and did her PhD work in Science Education at Kent State University.

Gina has taught at the high school and college level, and pursued research in vector born diseases such as Lyme, thyroid disease, and aging. When not working as a scientist, Gina has worked as a Real Estate Broker and Auctioneer.

Dr. Keith R. Latham- Is our Chief Scientific Officer for LIAS.

Keith received his Bachelor's degree in Biophysics from California State University, his PhD. work was in Neurobiology and Biology of Aging from the University of Southern California. His Post Doctoral training was in Molecular Endocrinology & Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of California at San Francisco.

Keith was a Professor of Medicine at Uniform Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD.

 Dr. Latham has served as Scientific Director and President of 5 additional companies, spawning multiple inventions and many commercialized products in the areas of artificial intelligence, statistical logic devices, eutectic gasses, media for culturing human stem cells, radio-protective compounds, targeted enzyme substrates, anti-viral vaccines and new chemistries for the synthesis of key synthetic intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients. Patents for methods of Controlled Drug Release and new drugs for treatment of Hypothyroidism, Breast Cancer, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease have resulted.
